Wedding Photography Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club
I really enjoyed my experience as an Ashdown Park wedding photographer and was amazed at how beautiful this country hotel is. Ashdown Park is set in acres of rural countryside in Sussex and is a spectacular 19th-century mansion featuring secret gardens, woodland paths and picturesque lakes. Nicola and Steve were recommended to me and I was delighted when they asked me to capture their countryside wedding here in September. The wedding day started at Ashdown Park where Nicola was getting ready and with the sun shining, I knew it was going to be a fantastic wedding. I left for the church service stopping off at the local pub to capture Steve and the guests as they sneaked in a quick tipple pre-ceremony.
Stunning Sussex Wedding Venue in Parklands
When the bride arrived she looked absolutely stunning in her dress and shoes and when she tied the knot with her groom it was clear how elated they both were! After some congratulations and confetti on the church grounds, I headed over to Ashdown Park with the bridal party for the drinks reception. After some group shots with the bridesmaids and groomsmen, I took the newlyweds around the immaculate gardens around the house for their couple shoot and a few special moments away from the crowds. This is a very special time of the reception as it’s the couple’s first moments alone as husband and wife. The converted chapel at Ashdown Park is truly magnificent and amazing to photograph. I was completely in awe of both its grandeur and beauty as I was taking pictures with my wide-angle lens.
Wedding Reception at Ashdown Park
The staff at Ashdown Park delivered an amazing wedding breakfast and some witty yet heartfelt speeches followed by toasts. The bride and groom enjoyed lots of laughs and champagne and were soon celebrating their first dance. The evening reception was electric and the guests partied into the night to finish off a wonderful celebration. Nicola and Steve were a pleasure to work with at the magnificent Ashdown Park country estate in Sussex. I was really pleased with their response to the pictures in the gallery I created at Ashdown Park and wish the newlyweds all the best for a wonderful future as husband and wife.
