I received an email from Caroline and Alex who were very keen to do a couple shoot with me after feeling slightly let down by the pictures they received from another photographer last year. My approach to engagement shoots is to give the couple lots of encouragement and direction when it’s needed. I want the images to look very natural and I keep the dialogue going to ensure there’s no awkward silences.
We waited until the weather was perfect before setting off to Richmond Park in Surrey for a sunset shoot. The light was beautiful and Caroline and Alex look very natural in front of the camera. Upon receiving the images Caroline wrote me this lovely email:
“Thank you so so much for the pictures. We love them all so much. We really couldn’t be happier with them. Thank you thank you thank you. I so wish we knew about you when we got married as I would have loved you to have photographed our wedding.”
