In the heart of the Hampshire countryside, the Clock Barn offers a rustic setting for a wedding celebration. This authentically restored 18th-century barn exudes charm and character, providing a unique backdrop for pictures on the wedding day. As soon as I arrived, I was enveloped by the warm ambience of this beautifully restored barn. With exposed wooden beams, tall ceilings, and tasteful décor, I discovered a welcoming atmosphere that blended in beautifully with the surrounding countryside. The flexible barn layout can cater to both intimate gatherings and larger weddings, allowing couples to customise their special day to reflect their unique vision.
The grounds at the Clock Barn are particularly impressive and make for interesting compositions. With beautiful flower beds and well-kept lawns, this family-owned venue in Hampshire is exceptionally well presented, allowing me plenty of angles to frame stunning pictures. After the ceremony, I love to give couples plenty of time with their guests to celebrate before taking them around the grounds for some intimate portraits. As an excellent timekeeper, I’ll manage the elements that I need to document, ticking off what I need to tell the story.
My photography vision and approach
I focus on the important elements of the day that count, and I’ll take a minute to explain my approach. With my photography, I strive to illustrate the love and special moments that I see before my cameras. With my kind approach and thoughtful personality, I’ll develop a great rapport with the bride and groom and their guests. By putting everyone at ease, I’ll blend into the day to create an artistic set of pictures that capture heartfelt moments. As I work, I want guests not to be alarmed by my cameras, and I use my expertise in photojournalism to deliver beautiful images that tell a story. Couples I work with will be able to relive their amazing day for a lifetime through my timeless photos.
Alice and Jordan’s wedding photos at the Clock Barn
Being a seasoned wedding photographer, I had a fantastic time working at the Clock Barn for Alice and Jordan’s big day in the Summer. They had been really excited in the run-up to their wedding, counting down the days until the date finally arrived. The soft, natural light perfectly complimented the interior inside the barn, while the lush greenery outside offered lots of options for great pictures. Their day in Hampshire is an excellent example of the magic this wedding venue offers. The rustic feel inside, intertwined with the beautiful Hampshire countryside, provided a wonderful backdrop for their big day to unfold. After their ceremony and plenty of champagne, we ticked off the group shots and took some time out for some intimate portraits of the bride and groom with plenty of motion. I thoroughly enjoyed documenting such a lovely, fun couple, and I’m excited to share their timeless images below…….
