As a recommended photographer at Coltsford Mill, I love to shoot here, come rain or shine. Hannah and Calum’s Summer wedding was a little bit of both, with the predicted rain then turned in to glorious sunshine!
Coltsford Mill is a classic country barn wedding venue with a modern twist. It boasts panoramic views of the idyllic surrounding countryside with endless opportunities for backdrops. The Mill room is perfect for smaller civil ceremonies, whilst the watermill barn is a great setting for larger weddings.
It was a lovely day, and they both looked very natural and relaxed in front of the camera. The day ended with an epic first dance that got everyone in the mood for a boogie on the dance floor.

“Murray shot our engagement shoot in Autumn/Winter and Wedding in August 2015, and it was such a pleasure to work with him. We were both a little nervous, but he instantly put us at ease. On the Wedding day, he wasn’t intrusive. He blended in well with our guests and captured some gorgeous photos and lovely moments. We had lots to deal with on the day, including a huge downpour of rain in the morning and some very tight timings, but he remained very calm and ensured our experience was just as enjoyable.
Murray is very creative and can spot great shots and capture them brilliantly. We absolutely love our photo’s which we received really quickly, fully edited and presented in a gorgeous box.
