Oaks Farm is the ideal venue for a intimate micro wedding in Surrey as well as larger events. It’s only ten miles from the city and in very close proximity to Croydon and Bromley. This stunning wedding venue, with its elegant gardens, is set within rolling hills and natural beauty. The grounds feature an idyllic lily pond with a water feature and pristine lawns and shrubs. The Orangery boasts an abundance of natural light and can also used as the reception area with picturesque views across the gardens. The Stable Barn with it’s authentic oak beams, is a fantastic setting for the ceremony where couples exchange their vows. There is also the option for an outdoor ceremony too.
Their micro wedding day
Elizabeth and David are a fantastic couple who had originally planned a larger wedding but due to the government restrictions they opted for an intimate micro wedding with 30 guests. With Elizabeth 7 months pregnant at the time the couple didn’t want the pandemic to affect their long term plans so a smaller wedding was the perfect option for them. After months of being locked down 4th July was in fact the first day that the restrictions were eased and it felt great to dust off my cameras and capture their wedding at Oaks Farm. Their emotion ceremony was held in the Orangery and afterwards I took the couple around the pond and grounds for a relaxed couple shoot.
It was a wonderful day and I wish them all the very best for the future as a new family. They loved their photos and here’s a few highlights…..
“Just like to say a big thank you for coming, you were great! Thank you for the photos too, they are lovely.” – Elizabeth & David
