I really enjoy being a Blackstock Country Estate wedding photographer and here is a bit of background on the venue.
Wedding venue details
It’s an exclusive wedding venue in Sussex and ideal for those couples who want a rustic and relaxed setting for their dream wedding. Located in the middle of the picturesque countryside of the South Downs there are two stunning barns, The Tudor and The Granary that dates back to the early 16th century. This wonderful setting provides a generous space for larger weddings with a capacity for up to 180 guests and together with the 70 acres of gardens and woodland, there’s endless possibilities for beautiful photos.
Emma and Ben are a lovely couple who wanted a relaxed and informal wedding with the resulting photos to tell the story and capture the essence of their personalities. When I arrived it was unfortunately pouring with rain but I wasn’t going to let the typical British weather dampen my enthusiasm! I headed in to the pretty bridal cottage to capture Emma and the girls getting ready and there was a real sense of excitement in the air.
Wedding ceremony
Once the couple had exchanged their vows in the barn it was time for them to kick back and take in the tranquil setting. After lots of mingling I took them around the grounds for a very brief couple shoot before it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches to get underway. Finally as we emerged from the barn the beautiful sunshine was upon us and this made for some wonderful golden hour shots before the first dance.
Blackstock Country estate Wedding Photographer capturing the best moments
Just as I said my goodbyes I walked outside to discover an amazing and dramatic sunset so there was just enough time for me to grab Emma and Ben for some final shots to end on a high!
Working at Blackstock Country Estate with such a fantastic couple was a real pleasure and I’m very excited to shared their highlights from an awesome day……
