I’ve worked as a Gate Street Barn wedding photographer many times, and here is a Winter wedding in February.
Gate Street Barn Wedding Photographer in Spring
Set in the heart of the Surrey Hills, Gate Street Barn is one of my favourite venues to work all year round. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Emily and James as their Gate Street Barn wedding photographer.
The preparations took place at Emily’s mum’s house, where she was made up for the day. Emily’s brother had the honour of giving her away, and their bond was evident as he saw her in her wedding dress! The ceremony was held at Gate Street Barn, and I took them around the idyllic grounds for their couple shoot.
A ski themed wedding
As very keen skiers, they decided upon a ski theme, and I loved all of the little touches they had created to decorate the venue. A highlight for the guests was the ski shot board that ensured everyone was suitably merry on their big day!
As the night drew in, I photographed the married couple by the gate outside. I used my flashes to backlight the raindrops for a magical effect.
I love the resulting images and very excited that their wedding has been nominated for “Wedding of the Year 2017” by Your Surrey Wedding Magazine!
“Thank you so much for being part of our day, and for your calming and professional manner throughout!” – Emily & James.
Gate Street Barn is one of my favourite wedding venues, and it’s always a joy to work there.
