If you’re looking for a Hampton Court House wedding photographer, then here is a beautiful day at this elegant mansion.
Wedding Photography at Hampton Court House
Overlooking the picturesque Bushy Park just outside of London, Hampton Court House is a beautiful Georgian mansion set within elegant gardens. It dates back to the 18th century. With its period architecture, opulent interior and stunning grounds, it’s the perfect setting for those looking for something that’s extra special for their wedding day! Sylvia and Tommy are a really lovely couple who tied the knot here in September, and I was thrilled when they asked me to capture their big day.
A relaxed day at Hampton Court
It started just around the corner at the Mitre Hotel in East Molesey, where I met Sylvia and her bridesmaids as they were made up. The ceremony was held in the magnificent main hall at Hampton Court House, and the couple exchanged their vows as their family and friend looked on. The conservatory and landscaped gardens were the peaceful settings for the drinks reception in the afternoon on this sunny day. I took the newlyweds around the gardens for some romantic moments together, resulting in some stunning portraits. It was soon time for the wedding breakfast to commence in the main house’s dining room.
I captured some hilarious speeches with my camera as the excited guests eagerly raised their champagne glasses to toast the happy couple! The reception finished off with an energetic party beginning with the first dance.
It was fantastic working with Sylvia and Tommy as their photographer at the magnificent Hampton Court House. Here are just a few of the fantastic moments I documented for them and I was delighted with their review on my Google page.
Hampton Court House photography testimonial
“What incredible photos and a what an amazing photographer! We couldn’t give a stronger recommendation if you’re getting married at Hampton Court House.
Murray did an absolutely brilliant job from our first contact with him. We saw his work online and immediately sent him an email to check his availability. Murray replied quickly and set up a Skype call to get to know us and what we wanted. He was polite, professional, prompt, and clearly understood what we were after. He was also very organised and provided helpful forms to complete to identify key members of the wedding party and work out the order to take formal pictures.
On the big day, Murray arrived promptly to take some photos of my wife and her bridesmaids getting ready. He then travelled to the Hampton Court House ceremony and took some fantastic shots of people arriving. Professional throughout the day, he clearly knew who was who. He also understood our priorities for the day and ensured we enjoyed ourselves whilst still getting some photos of us alone.
Evening reception at Hampton Court
One real highlight for us was that Murray was happy to stay very late into the evening (until carriages arrived) and so got some fantastic photos of the dance floor as the night progressed. This was quite a last-minute ask from us, and so we were very fortunate that he was keen to do this, particularly as it meant working a fourteen-hour day. This long day didn’t impact his work, and he still had the same energy by the end of the night.
Overall, an incredible job!! Looking back through the images brought back some fantastic memories. We could tell from Murray’s previous weddings at Hampton Court House that he’d be excellent for us, but he managed to surpass expectations. Great work.” – Sylvia & Tommy
