Botleys Mansion, owned by Bijou, is one of Surrey’s most exclusive wedding venues. This attractive Palladian Mansion is set within beautiful parkland and was originally constructed in the 18th Century. Being Grade II listed, this is the perfect venue for those looking for a historic and elegant wedding venue in Surrey with plenty of charm.
Botleys Mansion caters for weddings of all sizes, from intimate affairs to lavish affairs. As soon as you enter the park and drive up the impressive driveway past the scenic grounds, you’ll see why it’s such a hidden gem!
The interior features include gorgeous chandeliers, gold leaf elements and grand columns, all combining to create a venue that oozes class and sophistication.
On the grounds are a host of beautiful backdrops, including an ornate landscaped garden, a water fountain and a wooden bridge that leads into the parklands.
Jenni and Robbie asked me to capture their wedding here in the Summer, and the beautiful sunshine made for a wonderful day. Their vows were exchanged in the pastel Green Room, and afterwards, they emerged from under the staircase outside to be showered with handfuls of confetti.
Once the newlyweds had finished their champagne, I led them around the mansion for some romantic shots of the two of them, taking in the breathtaking grounds.
The impressive atrium was the elegant setting for their meal, speeches and evening entertainment, and just before the sun went down, we returned outside briefly for some idyllic golden hour images.
To finish the day, I captured Jenni and Robbie brightly lit against the mansion under a romantic night sky.
