Wedding Photography at Lythe Hill Hotel
In a beautiful setting in the Surrey countryside’s heart lies the beautiful Lythe Hill Hotel. This listed Tudor House dates back to the 15th century and is a fantastic choice for couples seeking a characterful wedding venue in a picturesque setting. With its oak beams and crisp white exterior, this venue oozes old-world charm coupled with luxury and elegance. The 22 acres of grounds surrounding the Lythe Hill Hotel feature ornate garden terraces, formal lawns, trimmed hedges and pretty flower beds. The hotel overlooks an ornamental lake complete with a gazebo licensed for outdoor ceremonies.
A brand new feature of the Lythe Hill Hotel is the large glass-roofed Ivory Room which can accommodate up to 150 guests seated and 250 guests for the evening reception. All of this combined to create a fantastic wedding venue, and this was the perfect setting for Jordana and Ben’s special day in May.
The bride’s parent’s house was the intimate setting for the bridal preparations, with all of the bridesmaids helping to create a fun and exciting atmosphere for Jordana. As she walked downstairs in her wedding gown for the big, reveal the room was full of emotion as her Dad looked on with pride. She met Ben at a local church to exchange vows before arriving at Lythe Hill Hotel for the afternoon and evening reception.

With a guitarist strumming melodies in the background under the gazebo, everyone gathered in front of the lake to mingle and congratulate the happy couple.
After some fun group shots with the lake as the backdrop, I took Jordana and Ben for a romantic and peaceful couple shoot. The pair looked fantastic in front of the camera and needed minimal direction from me as they chatted away with each other, reflecting on the day at Lythe Hill. The Ivory Room inside the hotel looked very elegant for the wedding meal and speeches as everyone chuckled away to some hilarious anecdotes before it was time to hit the dance floor!
