Wedding Photography at Woldingham School
Located in the heart of a peaceful 700-acre estate in the idyllic Surrey valley lies the beautiful Marden Park, an exceptional elegant mansion in a wonderful setting.
At Woldingham School, there’s an abundant selection of picturesque backdrops that are perfect for any wedding celebration. I love working at this spectacular venue because there are so many pretty locations, and the grounds of Marden Park are maintained impeccably. There’s plenty of pops of colour to help create interesting compositions, and I love to capture couple portraits are Woldingham School.
Kirstin and John wanted a relaxed wedding with story-telling images to reflect upon, so I was very honoured when they asked me to be their photographer for their wedding at Marden Park in July.
The lovely couple married in the atmospheric chapel at Woldingham and afterwards emerged to handfuls of petals to mark the occasion! After a large group shot of everyone on the steps of the mansion, I gave the newlyweds a brief tour of the pristine grounds for some romantic time away from their guests. We covered lots of Woldingham areas in a short space of time, and Kirstin and John looked very natural and relaxed in front of the camera. The fountain pond made for some magical images whilst their stroll around the pergola at Marden Park felt serene.

Back in the mansion house, the guests gathered around during the reception to congratulate the happy couple. There was a real sense of pride and excitement in the air, and I captured many shots of the guests enjoying themselves.
The wood-panelled Goddard Room at Marden Park was the elegant setting for the wedding breakfast, and some amusing speeches followed! We took some time afterwards to make a short walk up the hill to reflect upon the day and capture some scenic shots overlooking the grounds before it was time to get on the dance floor!
