Set in over 120 acres of idyllic countryside, Northbrook Park is a truly magical wedding venue. The grand 18th century Manor House is Grade II listed and full of charm. The venue features the light and airy Orangery, the stunning Vine Room and picturesque walled gardens that are manicured to perfection.
Several majestic peacocks roam the grounds freely bringing good fortune and are a novel sight for visitors as they flutter their feathers. I love working at Northbrook Park because the natural light is fantastically soft throughout the venue. Inside every room are floor to ceiling windows and there’s beautiful locations on every face of the building so it’s always possible to find the light I’m looking for against a stunning backdrop.
Kirstine and Richard chose this elegant venue for their Summer wedding in August. The day started in the onsite Mews where Kirstine was having her hair and makeup done with her bridesmaids in one apartment whilst Richard was in another with his ushers. The Vine Room was the beautiful setting for the ceremony as a very nervous Richard waited for his bride. As they exchanged their vows they shared many a smiling glance towards each other!
They walked back up the aisle together and emerged from the entrance to the biggest shower of confetti I have ever seen! Afterwards they headed to the walled garden where their guests took turns to congratulate the happy couple. Once they’d had some time to take everything in I took them for their romantic couple shoot around the grounds.
The orangery looked absolutely stunning with lots of unique ideas and every detail complimenting their theme beautifully. The meal and speeches came next with plenty of laughter combined with heartfelt messages and this made for a warm atmosphere in the room.
As the night fell upon us it was soon time for the couple to get their dancing shoes on and party in to the night! I had a fantastic day with Kirstine and Richard and they were a joy to work with…..
