Right in the heart of over 70 acres of picturesque parkland, Horsley Towers is a beautiful wedding venue dating back to the 1900’s. This amazing mansion underpins elegance and was painstakingly designed by Charles Barry in a Gothic style. Charles was also very famous as the architect responsible for the Houses of Parliament in Westminster. Having inherited his family’s home, he dreamed of creating a magnificent property to demonstrate his wealth, so he restored Horsley Towers to its current glory.
This discerning venue is part of De Vere Hotels and made for the idyllic setting for Laura and Ed’s wedding in the Summer. The couple wanted a natural set of photos that reflected their day so I was very excited when they contacted me to be the photographer for their special day! They were fantastic to work with from start to finish and it was a real pleasure to capture some memorable moments for them. What I really like about working at Horsley Towers are the vast array of beautiful backdrops. I love taking the newlyweds on a stroll around the various locations as they as share some intimate moments away from the crowd. Laura and Ed looked amazing in the photos and together we achieve a wonderful set of memories.
They loved their images from the day and sent these very kind words……
“I can’t put into words how amazing and special the photos are that you and Alicia have captured. Thank you so so much! They are so stunning and we are so grateful to have had you both at the wedding! You captured the day perfectly 🙂 I shall send a couple of the web images onto Horsley as I’m sure they would love to see how beautifully your captured the venue! I will certainly get in touch with you soon regarding a photo album and possibly some photo books as gifts for parents etc.Thank you again to you and Alicia for the perfect photos and being there on the day.” – Laura & Ed
Thank you to Alicia, my trusty second photographer, for her fantastic work on the day.
