Hartsfield Manor in Surrey is set in the heart of the idyllic Surrey countryside. As you make your way up the scenic driveway, you will see the impressive Victorian stately home.
Located in over 16 acres of peaceful grounds it’s a fantastic location to celebrate your wedding. The historic Hartsfield Manor was built in the 19th century and oozes elegance and charm, featuring high ceilings, an ornate staircase and grand archways. This beautiful venue was the setting for Michaela and Elliot’s wedding in the first week of October.
It all began in the dressing room as Michaela was made up, and a brief visit from her brother made for an emotional start to the day. As Michaela emerged in her dress, the bridesmaids gave a huge cheer, and the air was filled with excitement as they gathered around her. The Hartsfield Lounge made for a wonderful setting for the ceremony, and as the couple walked out of the front entrance, they were covered in a shower of rose petals.
I gave the newly married couple lots of time to sip bubbly and catch up with their guests before taking them around the beautiful gardens for their couple photos. The Autumnal grounds looked stunning and provided a warm and colourful set of backdrops to some intimate moments.
The speeches were very emotional in the Terrace Restaurant and this made for some lovely meaningful images. The couple had experienced some very tough times in the run up to the wedding so there was a huge amount of love in the room that made for a warm atmosphere that brought a smile to my face.
The day continued in style with an amazing first dance, and the couple and their guests danced away to an excellent wedding playlist. With the rain coming down heavily outside I carefully orchestrated a series of epic rain shots thanks to my tw0 acquired assistants holding lights, and dashing in and out between frames with an umbrella to keep the daring couple as dry as possible! It was a great and worthwhile effort all around! 🙂
