Located at the foot of the magnificent Box Hill lies Burford Bridge Hotel, a lovely wedding venue that is steeped in history. It dates back all the way to 1254 when it was known as the ‘Fox and Hounds’ and although most of the original site was demolished, many elements of the hotel date back to the 1600’s. The hotel has changed hands, and its name on various occasions but in 1905 its new name of Burford Bridge Hotel was made permanent!
Today the hotel is a very popular wedding venue with couples coming from far and wide to celebrate their dream wedding at a fantastic venue. Michelle and Brodie are an awesome couple who wanted their photos to document their wedding in a relaxed and fun way, really capturing the magical spontaneous moments. I was very delighted when they got in touch with me to ask me to document their special day and it was a real pleasure to be back at Burford Bridge.
Michelle and Brodie married in the impressive barn and opted for their couple shoot half way up Box Hill which made for some stunning images with the panoramic views of the Surrey countryside as the backdrop. The rest of the day continued in the barn with the guests gathering outside in the well kept gardens to mingle and congratulate the newlyweds. The cake cutting and dancing was soon underway to end the day on a high note with an amazing band that had everyone on their feet.
