Miri and Luke are an absolutely fantastic couple who got married in August this year! They exchanged their vows at a local church amongst their many friends and family with their reception taking place later at Burford Bridge. I met Miri purely by chance when she was working part time at another wedding venue some years ago and we instantly hit it off. It was lovely to hear from her some 18 months later when she was putting the wheels in motion for her own wedding and asked me to be her wedding photographer. Miri is now an actress and Luke a musician and it’s always great to work with other creatives. For their couple shoot we trekked up Box Hill for some romantic shots of the two of them with stunning panoramic views across the Surrey hills.
We then ran down the hill to the barn for the speeches and it was really clear to everyone how completely in love they are with lots of smiles and tears filling the room. From the preparations in the morning to their amazing first dance routine in the evening it was wonderful to capture their pure excitement and joy. Upon receiving their images I received this lovely email from them and I’m so grateful to them for having me along……….
“Thank you so much for the photos, they are absolutely fantastic! You captured every part of our wedding, the smiles, the laughter and all the details we had worked so hard to include. Though it is hard to choose, our favourites are definitely the shots you got as we walked up Box Hill and thank you for agreeing to trek up there on the hottest day of the year!! We are thrilled and will enjoy making the album to keep our memories of the day alive. Your professional manner, unobtrusive style, creativity, search for perfection and easy going nature were perfect for our wedding. Thank you also for staying later than agreed to capture our first dance and pretty much the whole wedding party crowding onto the dance floor!! Your name will be top of the list should anyone be looking for a wedding photographer in Surrey. Thanks again! Hopefully our paths will cross again in the future.” – Miri & Luke
