Botleys Mansion is a very exclusive wedding venue owned by Bijou. This impressive Palladian Mansion was built in the 18th Century and is Grade II listed. At the turn of the millennium it was beautifully restored and is now available for weddings all year round.
Botleys Mansion can cater for a variety of sized weddings from the more intimate to the more lavish but whatever the size it’s is the ideal venue for those seeking a glamorous wedding in Surrey.
The Mansion sits in the heart of beautiful parkland and strikes the perfect balance between contemporary style and historic charm. As soon as you drive up the scenic driveway it’s easy to fall in love with this venue and it’s surrounding grounds. There really is no place like it!
The lavish interior features sparkling chandeliers, gold leaf details and every inch oozes class and opulence. Weddings here really stand out and it’s highly regarded as one of Surrey top wedding venues.
Step outside and you’re met with a plethora of stunning backdrops and a beautifully manicured garden as well as a water fountain and a small bridge leading in to the park.
Perry and Felicity are a wonderful couple who flew all the way from America to tie the knot at Botleys and it was a lovely day filled with laughter, tears and amazing moments. The ceremony took place in the Green Room with its pastel shaded walls and stunning period features. As the newly married couple stepped outside they were greeted with handfuls of confetti before everyone gathered around to congratulate them.
After a couple of drinks Perry and Felicty were all set for their couple portraits and I lead them around the breathtaking grounds for some romantic down time.
The orangery-style atrium was the beautiful setting for the banquet, speeches and evening reception and around sunset we managed to squeeze in some lovely warm golden hour shots to mark the beginning of the evening.
Just as the twilight sky emerges this is the time I love to get my flashes out and create some dramatic evening shots for the couple. Botleys Mansion looked simply epic with Perry and Felicity stood at the foot, brightly lit in the foreground with the mansion behind them under a deep blue sky.
