Russets is beautiful and contemporary country house in Surrey that just oozes class! Set within a countryside location this venue features fantastic views across the hills and provided the perfect setting for Lucy and Rob’s Summer Wedding. I first met the couple for their engagement shoot a couple of months before at Leith Hill which made for some stunning pre-wedding shots of the two of them to help prepare for their big day. On the day I arrived early in the morning to capture the preparations at the Barns at Roundhurst and with rain forecast for the entire day, I had recommended that Lucy and Rob purchase a handful of clear umbrellas which would make for some great images in the wet later on.

The ceremony took place at a local church before we headed to Russets for the reception. In true British fashion the newlyweds weren’t going to let a bit of rain dampen their spirits and I took them around the grounds for some relaxed couple photos under the umbrella before some fun group shots.
