Summer Castle Wedding images in Wadhurst
Maddy and Ed are a friendly and fun couple, and documenting the biggest day of their lives in Sussex with my cameras was a true honour. Maddy’s radiant smile and Ed’s genuine kindness illuminated the entire day; everyone, including myself, felt like cherished guests.
Their coverage began as I arrived in the morning to photograph the preparations in the bridal suite. It was an excellent opportunity to meet the bridesmaids and put everyone at ease in front of the lens. I also zoomed over to meet Ed with his groomsmen for some relaxed shots of the guys. Maddy looked stunning in her beautiful dress as she walked down the aisle during the outdoor wedding ceremony overlooking the regal castle. Once the register was signed, the newlyweds walked back up the aisle together as their guests showered them with confetti, making for some epic shots!
My candid approach to photography
My belief is the photos should be about the wedding day and not vice versa, so I allowed the bride and groom plenty of time to celebrate with their loved ones before taking them for some couple relaxed portraits around the grounds. The idyllic backdrop of Wadhurst Castle and the surrounding countryside made for some wonderful, intimate images of the couple.
After a Royal banquet in the Great Hall, the party got underway with an excellent first dance routine as the guests cheered with delight. As the sun went down, I invited Maddy and Ed outside for some romantic evening shots in front of the venue under the starry twilight sky.
Being a part of their special day was truly a privilege, and their gratitude and appreciation upon viewing the finished gallery made the experience unforgettable. I was delighted to receive some kind feedback from the bride and groom:
“Thank you for sharing our wedding photos. We are absolutely delighted with them! Thank you so much!!” – Maddy & Ed
Here are the highlights of their special day in the regal setting of Wadhurst Castle. I wish Maddy and Ed the best for a fantastic future together as husband and wife…..
