Set in the heart of Digbeth in Birmingham, Fazeley Studios is a photographer’s paradise! With it’s light and airy atmosphere, this hidden gem was the perfect choice for Danielle and Andy’s colourful wedding. The day started with preparations at the couple’s characterful home in Halesowen. From the offset I was in my element shooting their various possessions and fittings around their home whilst Danielle (a mobile hair stylist and make-up artist) got to work on her mother’s make-up. Danielle then made herself up before I captured her rainbow clan of bridesmaids helping with her dress. I arrived at Fazeley Studios to a spectrum of colourful pom poms, flowers and table decorations – even the cake was decorated in hundreds and thousands!!! After a beautiful ceremony I took the newlyweds on a coupe shoot around the local area, covering the historical sights of the custard factory and the various artistic graffiti covered walls that feature nearby. Following the group shots in the garden the wedding breakfast commenced and the guests were treated to surprise entertainment from the singing waiters. Posed as real staff, the waiters unassumingly served the guests before suddenly breaking into a song, playing guitars and entertaining the room. With amazing vocals, beautiful harmonies and guitar work; their larger than life performance had the whole room in stitches! I thoroughly enjoyed working with Danielle and Andy and their big day is certainly one of the most memorable weddings I have had the pleasure of capturing! Upon viewing the finished photographs the delighted couple sent me this lovely email:
“They are AMAZING, love, love, love them!!! Made us laugh, cry and everything in between…so, so pleased with them! We would both like say a massive thank you to you for being so fantastic, many of the guests commented on how thorough and attentive you had been all day! You really were brilliant! Thank you again so much!” – Danielle & Andy
Elizabeth at Fazeley Studios also commented “We’ve all agreed this is one of our favourite Fazeley weddings (without being too biased). Absolutely beautifully captured, we hope you come back soon. Congrats on the blog – we will share away!” Please click here to see the full article…..
