In 2019, Crondon Park won “The Best Countryside Wedding Venue in Britain” award — and with so much history and character and well over 1,000 glowing reviews, it’s not difficult to see why. Renowned for being one of the premium wedding venues in Essex, it boasts a formidable Championship Golf Course and a magnificent Tudor/Jacobean Barn and enjoys stunning views across the beautiful valley of Crandon. Located in the village of Stock, within easy access to Junction 28 on the M25 and Junction 16 on the A12, Crondon Park has, since 1994, gained a reputation second to none for hosting prestigious weddings for discerning couples, their families and friends.
The main function room is the imposing Baronial Hall, built circa 1606 out of light oak timber beams and considered to be one of the finest examples of a Tudor/Jacobean Barn — a truly wonderful space to host your wedding. Fully air-conditioned and temperature-controlled, the popular barn has solid 120-year-old rosewood flooring acquired from County Hall in London. The Baronial Suite includes the Ryder Room, which is licensed to perform Civil Partnership Ceremonies and has a Bridal Suite with a private room. The Ceremony Room is also available and can be used as a cocktail bar.
Crondon Park Wedding Venue has great facilities
The secluded private gardens offer a peaceful place to relax and are totally enclosed. The trees are theme-lit to mirror the lighting in the main Hall. Great opportunities here for your memorable wedding photographs. When the weather permits, ceremonies can also be performed outside in the gardens beneath the floral canopy.
The accommodation includes the superb oak-beamed Bridal Suite, complete with a large lounge. four-poster bed, television, a free-standing bath, makeup mirrors and lighting. There is also a choice of five other en suite bedrooms with walk-in showers and outdoor patio areas, and a full English breakfast is provided.
