Civil ceremonies
The venue is licenced for civil ceremonies and can both seat and cater for up to 150 guests in either the grand Willow Room or the elegant Hawthorn Room. The Willow Room, which opens out onto the North Lawn, features an ornate white and gold staircase in keeping with its period furnishings and gilt décor. Not only does this form a perfect backdrop for stunning wedding photography, but enables you to greet your guests in the most romantic and dramatic fashion possible. Walking down the magnificent gold carpeted staircase to say your vows within this classic Georgian atmosphere must surely be every bride’s dream – a fairy tale entrance for a once in a life time experience.
The Hawthorn Room, a more chic drawing room type venue, also includes traditional Georgian decor and stunning views across the beautiful lawns. Whilst perhaps not as ornate as the Willow Room with its finery, the Hawthorn Room has an elegant charm and sophistication with its high ceilings, sash windows and delicate lighting. Refreshments served outside on the lawns adjacent to the River Wandle will allow for further stunning photography and enable your guests to stroll the countryside and take in the tranquillity of this stunning location.

Additionally, the Oak and Yew Rooms can be used throughout the day for guests to enjoy perhaps a peaceful retreat, a dedicated crèche area for babies and toddlers or a space for children to play. Both rooms are bright and airy with comfortable contemporary décor and pleasant parkland views.
