Reportage Wedding PhotographyWedding photographer St Albans

As a wedding photographer, I love working in St Albans, a vibrant cathedral city that’s bustling with life!

Named one of the UK’s best wedding photographers in 2016 and 2017, I’m a former documentary cameraman and would love to photograph your big day. Combining modern portrait photography with reportage-style shooting, I blend unobtrusively into your wedding to capture those spontaneous moments that make the day so unique to create beautiful images that will last forever.

Available for venues in St Albans and across Hertfordshire, I draw on my years of experience to make sure everyone feels relaxed and at ease around the camera. This allows you and your guests to enjoy the day without worrying about where the camera is pointing.

My focus and approach to weddings in St Albans

My focus and approach to documenting weddings in St. Albans highlights the candid moments of the big day in a relaxed and natural fashion. Since starting my photography business over 13 years ago, my enthusiasm and hard work have earned me an accolade as one of the best wedding photographers in the UK.

When I’m photographing weddings, I seamlessly fit it into the environment. With my unobtrusive style, my ethos is to allow the action to unfold without staging or interfering. I capture the story through my viewfinder whilst respecting people’s personal space. Sometimes, I take a step away as the moment builds up and then quickly step back into the action at the crib moment to capture the image. This subtle approach results in a beautiful storybook of memories, depicting those you love going about their business, unfazed by me and my cameras. These memories will last a lifetime, allowing you to relive the special moments of your wedding forever through my photographs.

Emma and Phil’s intimate wedding

I recently shot a wedding at Woodlands Park. With the unique backdrop created by this historic country home and the sprawling lawns, long grasses, and towering oak trees, there was no shortage of settings for some beautiful shots.

I captured all the candid action and some very natural images before the celebrations began. It was a wonderful day, and I was very grateful to the couple for inviting me along.
