Nestled in the South Downs National Park, close to the Goodwood Estate, these traditional flint-long barns are great for your special day spent with family and friends. There is also the self-contained shabby-chic décor Jasmine cottage–a stunning hideaway with a cosy honeymoon suite where you can prepare for the wedding beforehand and spend the night together after the event.
The venue is located within easy reach of Chichester and the south coast, and the barns are set in colourful cottage gardens with old-fashioned roses, herbaceous plants, a central water feature, a spacious courtyard and a Moroccan-style snug – all providing beautiful backdrops for your memorable wedding photographs.
Two amazing Sussex barns
Take your choice between the lovingly restored, family-owned East Barn and the South Barn—both overflowing with charm and character: The relaxed and stylish East Barn boasts aged wooden beams, brass chandeliers, and cushioned high-backed wooden benches recessed into the walls. After the ceremony, your guests can mingle outside in the spacious courtyard and enjoy a glass of Champagne or even a hog roast or barbeque in the evening. Both barns are licensed for 150 guests for your civil or partnership ceremony.

The spacious South Barn: twinkling tea lights in the recesses of the original brick wall add elegance to the atmosphere, along with the wooden beams adorned with fairy lights. The large French windows to one end bathe the barn in natural light, and it is here that the Wedding Breakfast is served. The natural stone floor benefits from underfloor heating, and there’s ample space here for a live band or a discotheque for your evening celebrations. The adjoining Stable Bar has a comfortable seating area and a log burner.
Jasmine Cottage is quintessentially English and has distinctive antique furniture, a freestanding roll-top bath, and ‘his and her’ wash-hand basins. French windows open up to a Juliet balcony overlooking the courtyard. Indeed, it is a romantic place to unwind after the Big Day.
