Photos at Ashdown Park
I really enjoyed my first time as an Ashdown Park wedding photographer and was amazed at how beautiful it is. It’s set in acres of countryside in Sussex and is a spectacular 19th-century mansion featuring secret gardens, woodland paths and picturesque lakes. Nicola and Steve were recommended to me and I was delighted when they asked me to capture their wedding here in September. The day started at Ashdown Park where Nicola was getting ready and with the sun shining, I knew it was going to be a fantastic wedding. I left for the church stopping off at the local pub to meet Steve and the guests as they snuck in a quick tipple before the ceremony.
Stunning Sussex Wedding Venue
When Nicola arrived she looked absolutely stunning in her dress and when her and Steve tied the knot it was clear how elated they both were! After some congratulations and confetti we headed over to Ashdown for the drinks reception in the afternoon. I took the newlyweds around the immaculate grounds for their couple shoot and a few special moments away from the crowds. The converted chapel is truly magnificent and I was completely in awe of both it’s grandeur and beauty.
The wedding breakfast then got underway with some witty yet heartfelt speeches to follow before the dancing and partying continued in to the night. Nicola and Steve were a real pleasure to work with both on the day and their engagement shoot. I was really pleased with their response to the images from Ashdown Park and wish them all the best for the future……
“Murray – thank you so much for the photos, they are fabulous and we are so pleased with them.” – Nicola & Steve
