With an idyllic riverside location the romantic Bingham Riverhouse is a wonderful setting for a wedding day. Nestled in the heart of Richmond-Upon-Thames is this well presented boutique hotel. It features elegant decor and stylish rooms creating an urban city vibe mixed with a country riverside feel. The hotel has a capacity for up to 150 guests and is suitable for weddings of all sizes, from the intimate to more lavish.
Laura and Dominic’s big day was certainly the latter for their Summer wedding in May and it was a pleasure to work alongside my second shooter Alicia. The day began at the couple’s flat in Battersea as Laura and her family and bridesmaids were getting themselves ready. After she was helped in to her dress by her proud mum, Laura stepped in to the lounge for the big reveal!
A beautiful couple shoot in Richmond
Their ceremony was held at an impressive church before we met them at the top of Richmond Hill to take in the stunning views on the way to the reception. As we arrived at the Bingham Riverhouse the guests were gathered on the terrace for the drinks reception. They all chatted to the newlyweds as they sipped their champagne and mingled.
The speeches during the wedding breakfast had everyone in stitches and the seasonal British cuisine was delicious! With the sun going down I lead the couple around the grounds and along the river for some romantic time on their own. As the sun set it was time to get on the dance floor! It was fantastic working with Laura and Dominic and I’m delighted to share their highlights from their wedding at the Bingham Riverhouse.
