Steeped in wonderful history and true English heritage, Farnham Castle combines traditional style with contemporary features. It’s become an award-winning wedding venue and is set in five acres of stunning grounds and gardens overlooking the idyllic town of Farnham. With its elevated position and dramatic views it’s the perfect backdrop for weddings all year round and it’s always a pleasure for me to work there.
The Lantern Hall dates all the way back to the Norman times and made for the perfect setting for Dot and James’ civil ceremony in October. The lovely couple had opted for an Autumnal colour scheme with vibrant orange and red flowers decorating the venue throughout and pumpkins dotted in almost every corner. After some confetti and champagne I took the new bride and groom up to the keep for some relaxed images of just the two of them and the brown and yellow leaves made for some beautifully warm photos. They had booked a unique falconry display with owls, vultures and birds of prey which provided some unique entertainment for their wedding guests. It was an amazing day with lots of special moments which I really enjoyed capturing. Dot and James loved their images and I thoroughly enjoyed working with them at the magnificent Farnham Castle…….
