Situated in heart of the West Sussex countryside lies the beautiful Long Furlong Barn, an exquisite wedding venue that’s full of character and charm. As a trusted supplier for the venue I really enjoy capturing weddings there and the beautiful rolling hills make for a wonderful backdrop. There’s almost infinite possibilities for compositions there and the abundance of natural light creates a wonderful glow to photographs.
Weddings at the barn are very well organised with the team working very closely with the couple. This makes for a relaxed wedding experience and a day that runs very smoothly. The site consists of two beautiful barns that have retained most of their original features, making them an attractive choice for couples looking for an authentic venue that’s remained true to its roots.
Emily and Stephen are a really nice couple who loved my work and asked me to be their wedding photographer for their wedding in the Summer. The preparations started in the bridal suite where Emily and her bridal party were getting ready for the day.
The ceremony was held in the delightful Cartshed where the couple exchanged their vows in front of their friends and family. They then proceeded back up the aisle as the new Mr and Mrs Loosely! Once all of the guests were outside I orchestrated the confetti line before everyone enjoyed a rewarding glass of bubbly in the sunshine as they congratulated the happy couple.
After they’d had plenty of time to mingle and take in the atmosphere I took them around the beautiful premises for some romantic shots.
The oak-framed Granary made for the superb setting for the wedding meal, speeches and evening reception.
