Set in the secluded Surrey Hills in Guildford, Gate Street Barn is a fantastic venue. The beautiful barn was built in the traditional style using oak from the trees lost on the farm in the 1987 hurricane. It boasts stunning gardens, views of the working organic farm and a herd of English cattle which I just had to include in some of the pictures! Tara and James got married here in August and what a fantastic wedding it was. The day started with the preparations at the Radisson Blu hotel nearby. After the ceremony I took the newlyweds around the grounds for a relaxed couple shoot before capturing the group shots and everyone enjoying themselves. Tara’s nickname for James has always been “Smartie” so the couple chose a theme which included showering their guests with sweets and chocolates! The speeches had the whole room in fits of laughter as the atmosphere was prickled with excitement, dictating the mood for the rest of the evening. Tara and James were a pleasure to work with and their wedding was nothing short of exceptional.
“These are absolutely amazing – love love love them Murray!! Wow!! You were brilliant on the day you really were and you also really care about what you do. Thanks so much.” – Tara & James
