Set in the rolling Sussex hills lies a hidden gem of a wedding venue, the fantastic Long Furlong Barn. With its vast array of stunning backdrops and idyllic locations, it’s not hard to see why Karishma and Jordan chose this venue for their Summer wedding last year. With two authentic original barns, beautifully restored to a very high standard and impressive, well-maintained grounds, Long Furlong Barn is a truly magical place to tie the knot, and I always love working there.
Karishma and Jordan met just 9 months before the wedding and instantly fell in love with each other. They were engaged not long after, and I was delighted when they booked me to be a part of their love story!
Karishma was made up in the bridal suite and courtyard, and Jordan’s pre-wedding note left her in floods of happy tears! The ceremony was held in the wonderful outdoors under the Long Furlong View structure, which created a peaceful and natural setting in which the couple could exchange their wedding vows.
Once married, they were showered with confetti in the warm sunshine, and what a beautiful way to begin their married life on a warm Summers day. After they’d had some time to mingle with their guests, I captured them as they strolled around the grounds, taking in the scenic views of the countryside.
It was soon time for the wedding breakfast as the guests were called in to the Granary for the speeches and evening entertainment. Before I said goodbye I took the newly married couple for a romantic sunset couple shoot in the corn fields to finish off their wonderful day at Long Furlong Barn.
