When Lucy & Tom asked me to capture their big day at Nonsuch Mansion I was super excited! Situated right in the heart of Nonsuch Park it’s a Grade II listed building that oozes character and charm so I always love working there! The couple opted for a traditional theme but wanted lots of relaxed images to reflect their personalities.
It all began at Lucy’s parents where she and her entourage of bridesmaids got ready for the big day. Their ceremony was held at their local church before heading to Nonsuch for their wedding reception in the afternoon. The sun was shining with stunning blue skies and everyone was gathered on the lawns for drinks & canapes. After a few images around the staircase I took Lucy and Tom around the grounds for some quite moments together away from the crowd.
The wedding breakfast was served in the beautiful Orchid Room, complete with stunning floral centre pieces and music themed table decorations that reflected their blue and ivory colour palette. There were some great speeches and lots of laughs before the dancing was underway to get the party started.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with Lucy and Tom for their Summer wedding at Nonsuch Mansion and I was thrilled with their response to the images. I was also delighted that this wedding featured in Your Surrey Wedding Magazine, Coco Weddings and Nonsuch Mansion’s own website here.
“Just wanted to say a big thank you for capturing our wedding. We absolutely love the photos, thank you so much! It was so difficult to pick our favourites for the album! Thank you again for doing such an amazing job! Love from, Lucy & Tom x”
