Set in the heart of the Essex countryside, Maiden’s Barn is a luxury wedding venue like no other. The barn dates back to the 1800’s and is now beautifully renovated with it’s large windows and high ceilings, creating a light and airy atmosphere with a contemporary feel. This spectacular barn was an obvious choice for Ellie and Andy’s special day.
The couple married at the nearby St. Mary the Virgin Church in Great Leighs en route to Maiden’s Barn for their reception. We headed in to the surrounding picturesque rapeseed fields which provided an amazing setting for the newlywed’s couple shoot. Covered head to toe in pollen I came out feeling like a bumble bee – I guess my penance for “working the angles!” Both Ellie and Andy are avid fans of my work and I love working with couple’s who appreciate my style of photography. I really enjoyed capturing their big day and was thrilled with their response to the finished pictures at Maidens Barn.
“We absolutely love the photos – you did such an amazing job! We had a fabulous time and you were so professional. Kindest regards, Ellie and Andrew”

Beautiful Wedding photography at Maidens Barn
What I absolutely love about Maidens Barn is that it has a rustic feel with a contemporary twist. Taking the married couple around the picturesque rapeseed fields in the Spring is like an optical overload. This is backdrop that is sought after by many couples so with it’s elegant barn, this venue has it all.

AlliFabulous shots of the happy couple in the rapeseed field. Truly glorious. Eleanor and Andrew must be so chuffed. It was worth getting covered in pollen for the fantastic results. You captured the day brilliantly! Alli
