In the heart of the beautiful Surrey countryside Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa is an exclusive wedding venue that dates back to the mid 1900’s. What I love about this venue is it’s grandeur and that there are so many different rooms and areas to utilise for weddings. The gardens are immaculately kept with spiralled topiary, shaped hedges and ornamental ponds that really add character to the extensive grounds. I’ve been shooting weddings here for many years now and I was delighted when Phoebe and Grant asked me to capture their big day here in the Spring last year.
The ceremony took place in the wood panelled Library with its large windows that look out on to the beautiful grounds.
Once they’d exchanged their vows the couple headed outside for their drinks reception. After they’d had some time to sip a couple of glasses of bubbly with their guests I took them around the garden for some relaxed time on their own.
During their couple portraits I loved capturing them around the large oak tree and we took a stroll up the hill to take in the stunning views across the countryside. The Terrace Pavilion made for the perfect location for the newlyweds to celebrate as the ushers fired huge confetti canons whilst Phoebe and Grant shared an intimate moment beneath!
The Balmoral Suite situated at the top of the large wooden staircase is the largest suite available and this made for the perfect setting for the wedding breakfast and speeches before the party got underway.
Phoebe and Grant were an absolute pleasure to work with at Pennyhill Park and I’m so pleased they loved their images………..
