As a photographer based in Worthing I love photographing and spending time with my family in my local area. There’s so many beautiful spots including the beach, pier, the Dome cinema and of course the idyllic South Downs. Stella and Gem make up the incredible artist duo that is “Two Faced Twins” who capture the essence of Sussex with their wonderful art work. I absolutely love their iconic landscape images with incredible detail and vibrant colour and I’m lucky enough to one of their giant pieces sitting about the sofa in my lounge.
Stella uses black fine liner pens to create exquisitely detailed illustrations whilst Gem is the queen of colour, bringing the images to life with her use of vibrant inks and manipulating the finished images digitally for a contemporary twist.
The gallery
Having recently opened their gallery on the seafront, they asked me to come and take some pictures for their website and upcoming marketing campaigns. I captured the talented team at work as they hand finished some prints together as well as photographing some portraits of them with their pieces in front of the corresponding landmarks.
