It was the perfect place to be a Tylney Hall wedding photographer in the heart of the picturesque countryside.
Wedding Photography at Tylney Hall
Tylney Hall is a historic country house that caters to more traditional bride and grooms. This magnificent venue has it all and is highly regarded as one of the most romantic wedding venues in Hampshire. Set within 66 acres of stunning well-kept gardens, Tylney Hall is a huge site with endless creative photography possibilities. When Kim and Steve booked me to shoot their big day there, I was super excited, and I’d been looking forward to working with at Tylney Hall.
The preparations
The day finally came, and the preparations began at Kim’s parents’ house, where she was made up in her bridesmaids’ close company. It was soon time for me to leave for the ceremony, and I met Steve and his groomsmen at the entrance of Tylney Hall just as the guests were arriving.
Wedding ceremony in the Tylney Suite
The elegant Tylney Suite is the largest room available and was perfect for the couple’s larger wedding ceremony. I loved capturing the special moments as they exchanged their vows, and their first kiss was met with loud applause rumbling throughout the room! After the newlyweds walked back up the aisle together, they escaped in a vintage car to take some private moments away from the crowds. Whilst they were away from Tylney Hall in the car, I organised the confetti line, and a few minutes later, Kim and Steve emerged to be showered with rose petals.
Hampshire wedding venue
With some spectacular views across to the lake, the guests gathered on the lawn to congratulate Kim and Steve and the relaxed Summer vibe and background music made for a tranquil atmosphere. I then took the newly married couple around the beautiful grounds surrounding Tylney Hall for some romantic time together as I captured some intimate moments for them.
Wedding reception in the Chestnut Suite
The meal and evening reception was held in the exclusive Chestnut Suite, and after some very entertaining speeches, the guests raised their glasses to toast the happy couple. As the sun went down, there was just enough time to explore some more locations around the venue with Kim and Steve before it was time to hit the dance floor to finish off this fantastic day at Tylney Hall.
They shared a unique first dance, and the bridesmaids joined Kim as she rocked away to the music! A touching moment happened as Kim’s elderly grandfather made a very special appearance at the wedding and joined Kim on the dance floor as the guests watched with big smiles and tearful eyes. Wow! 🙂
My summary of weddings at Tylney Hall
All in all, it was a beautiful day, and the Tylney Hall certainly exceeded my high expectations! Here are my favourite moments from Kim and Steve’s big day, and they were a delightful couple to work with.
