The View Hotel in Eastbourne is a beautiful glass-fronted building with stunning views overlooking the English Channel. Situated right on the seafront Rebecca and James chose this lovely venue for their intimate Winter wedding in December, just before Christmas. As a Sussex resident myself I was really excited when the couple got in touch with me fairly last minute to capture their wedding. It was a gorgeous mild day with the sun shining and deep blue skies. I started their four hour coverage an hour and a half before the ceremony to capture the most essential elements of the day. Rebecca and her bridesmaids and flower girls were in in their hotel room busy getting ready and following a brief introduction to everyone I captured the final stages of the preparations.

I met James and his brother (best man) downstairs in the ceremony room just as the guests were arriving and with amazing views across to Eastbourne Pier I knew this would be an fantastic setting for them to tie the knot! After the couple walked down the aisle they were instantly greeted and congratulated by their close friends and family and the excitement in the air was literally buzzing! Rebecca and James had requested before the big day that they would prefer their couple shoot and group shots to be held indoors in the warmth so I was very happy obliged for them. I used the hundreds of fairy lights and opulent staircase to create some dynamic and beautiful images of them along with the large floor to ceiling window which created some wonderfully soft light.
