Set in 123 acres of idyllic Surrey countryside lies the exclusive Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa. With its beautiful topiary gardens littered with colourful flowers and spiral-shaped hedges, this venue boasts spectacular views across the hills. It’s easy to see why Kate and Paul chose Pennyhill Park to tie the knot, and what a great day it was! Kate got in touch nearly 18 months ago after seeking some natural and artistic images to capture the essence of the day, and when the time finally came, I was rearing to go.
Wedding ceremony in the gardens at Pennyhill Park
The ceremony took place under the gazebo to make the most of the lovely sunshine before the reception got underway within the gardens. After some great speeches and witty and original humour that left everyone wanting more, it was time for the newlyweds to hit the dance floor and bust some moves! Kate and Paul went to town and displayed one of the funniest and most upbeat routines I have seen to date, which made for some awesome pictures. Working with such a fantastic couple from start to finish was lovely, and I was pleased with their response to the photos at Pennyhill Park.
