Ramster Hall is an absolutely stunning wedding venue set in Chiddingfold in the Surrey hills. The iconic gardens are both historic and beautiful and never fail to make a wonderful backdrop throughout the year for photos. Amanda and Nick got married in a nearby church last May and held their reception at Ramster Hall after the ceremony. Upon arrival, I took the newlyweds around the gardens for some relaxed shots of the two of them and was amazed at how colourful and impressive the flowers were at that time of year. Being such a beautiful sunny day, the Great Drawing Room was completely empty as all of the guests could be found outside in the intimate courtyard sipping bubbly and eating canapés. The Long Hall is a magnificent space full of character and charm. It dates back to the early 17th century and features exposed traditional old beams and panelled walls. With stunning views of the surrounding gardens, it was the perfect setting for the wedding breakfast and the hilarious speeches that followed. There was an atmosphere, and with plenty of vodka floating around, the party quickly got underway. I caught some lovely images of the first dance and then of the many enthusiastic guests who eagerly hit the dance floor afterwards. I have always loved working at Ramster Hall. Amanda and Nick are an awesome couple, and they were great to work with. Here are a few snippets from their day……..
