Brookfield Barn in Sussex is a rustic yet modern venue that’s geared specifically towards weddings.
The oak-framed barn features stunning views across to the lake and grounds and an extensive golf course leading to a small bridge. I was really excited when Ashleigh and Ben asked me to capture their big day here in the Winter. It was a chilly day in March and as I arrived I was greeted by a blanket of white across the grounds. I knew instantly that this would make for some magical shots and what a great way to start my work at this venue! The couple opted for an intimate wedding initially followed afternoon tea when the majority of their guests arrived for the reception. During the couple portraits I took the excited newlyweds outside for some stunning images against the various snowy backdrops and I had to work very quickly so that Ashleigh wouldn’t get too cold! I’m so pleased that we captured some pictures in the snow and Ashleigh and Ben were such amazing sports throughout the day.
