The original Crazy Bear in Stadhampton is certainly the most fun wedding venue I’ve had the pleasure of working at. Set in acres of famland, it boasts a mixture of modern eclectic design and traditional English heritage making for a luxury boutique venue that is totally unique. The terrace features a London double decker bus as the reception whilst Captain Cook and various interesting statues guard every corner! The ceremony takes place inside the atmospheric Oakroom with its black padded ceiling and dim downlights. The Glass House is lit by hundreds of fairly lights that hang from a draped ceiling with beautiful Moroccan lanterns whilst mirrored tables and a padded bar add to it’s distinctive decor. Gabby and Nick work in the film industry and when they asked me to capture their wedding at Crazy Bear I was absolutely thrilled!
I started the day capturing both Gabby and Nick’s preparations and after the ceremony I took the newlyweds around the woodland areas outside for their couple shoot. Some amazing speeches followed the wedding breakfast and even Rylan Clark made a video appearance to send his best wishes! I really enjoyed working with Gabby and Nick and their wedding was nothing short of amazing! Here are the highlights from their day…..
