Coltsford Mill has it all with a wonderful mix of elegance in a rural setting. It’s tastefully modernised with sizable windows that allow for plenty of sunshine to flood in to the Watermill Barn. This hidden gem is sit in 12 acres of land and offers fantastic views of the Surrey countryside that surround it. Two stunning lakes feature within the grounds as well as an original mill, creating a calm and relaxed setting for a wedding day. I love working at this beautiful venue are there are seemingly endless locations to use for creating my images and the tranquil surroundings help to create a lovely atmosphere.
Nikkita and her bridemaids got ready in a nearby hotel before heading to Coltsford Mill for the wedding ceremony. The happy couple were soon married and walking back up the aisle to be congratulated by their excited guests outside.
After plenty of fizz I escorted the newly married couple around the various beautiful locations for some time on their own, away from their guests and this resulted in some fantastic couple photos. The table details in the barn were very pretty with a classic theme and tall candelabra centre pieces than made the barn their own. Lots of amazing moments followed during the speeches with plenty of embarrassing tales and touching words from all the speakers.
The day rounded off with lots of dance floor action as well as an epic rainbow in the sky for the perfect fairytale ending. I really enjoyed working with Nikkita and Joe at Coltsford Mill and I’m very excited to share their highlights from the day. They sent me a lovely message below and it was a pleasure capturing their wedding.
“Thank you so much Murray! It was an amazing day! Sorry for all the chaos but you did a fab job of organising all our guests!” – Nikkita & Joe
