Clissold House is a Grade II listed mansion in the beautiful setting of Clissold Park in London. This charming wedding venue dates back to the 18th century and has recently undergone a refurbishment. Step inside, and you’re met with a magical spiral staircase, original fireplaces and lots of period features that make up an authentic and elegant interior. The house boasts large windows that allow for lots of beautiful natural light that always makes for stunning photographs. With scenic views out to the park, this is the perfect venue for those looking for a stylish yet very calm setting to tie the knot.
Sarah and David are a relaxed couple who live in London and when they asked Alicia and I to be part of their special day at Clissold House we were both thrilled!
They had a fantastic ceremony at Clissold House, and for their couple photos, I led them around the building for some romantic images. We then took a leisurely stroll in the park before heading on to the Artisan of Clerkenwell for their evening reception. After lots of mingling and socialising, it was time for the meal and speeches before the evening party, which was underway. What I loved about working at the Artisan of Clerkenwell were the hundreds of fairy lights draped from the staircase and ceiling, and needless to say, I was in my creative element as I made full use of the photographic possibilities!
