This fabulous venue is an impressive Grade II Elizabethan manor house and a private home. Nestled in thirty acres of delightful grounds and woodland, Broyle Place enjoys a truly peaceful setting in a particularly picturesque part of the county. Here is a wonderful place to take your vows and share a relaxing day with your special friends and family.
There is certainly no shortage of spectacular backdrops for your stunning wedding photographs – lasting memories that will constantly remind you of your perfect day. Sweeping lawns and flagstone terraces lead up to the front of the manor house, framed by climbing roses and wisteria. Here is the ideal place to sip champagne, and a chance to mingle and chat with your guests.
There are a variety of places available for you to choose from. The custom designed Marquee will accommodate between 50 to 160 people and is ideal for your wedding breakfast or ceremony and boasts a solid wood floor, wooden panelling and a beautiful ornate hand carved bar. Weather permitting, the four sets of French wooden doors can be opened and lead directly onto the terrace and extensive lawns. On chilly days, the marquee is fully heated.
Unique Wedding Photo Opportunities
For a more intimate ceremony for up to 50 wedding guests, there’s The Great Hall with its sweeping staircase, red carpet and remarkable inglenook fireplace lit by candles – a truly romantic setting for the signing of the Register.
Then there’s always the Boat House, set against a backdrop of woodland and water features, which can accommodate up to 150 guests and is absolutely perfect for an outside ceremony. Watch out for the friendly resident duck who may try to gate-crash the ceremony! An unexpected photographic opportunity here, perhaps?
