Easily accessible from the M3 and M4 motorways, the luxury venue is set within stunning 18th Century parkland, close to Reading, Newbury and Basingstoke, and also offers fabulous overnight accommodation for you and your guests – including the Honeymoon Suite (a former hay loft) boasting, arguably, the biggest bed in Berkshire!
Elegant venue for weddings
When it comes to choosing where to have for your wedding, Wasing Park has a number of options – all of which provide a variety of amazing backdrops for your memorable photographs. Take, for example, the Victorian Summerhouse nestled in the Terrace Garden and traditionally built with a white wooden frame and wooden seating inside. The summerhouse has hand-painted murals depicting flowers, blossoming cherry trees, birds and butterflies. Overlooking neatly manicured lawns, it offers beautiful views of the grounds and its Grade II listed buildings. Ideal for ceremonies held in the spring and summer. Then there’s the impressive Castle Barn with its red brick castle-style tower, arched glass doorway, exposed brick walls, oak beams and modern Italian mood lighting. The barn is perfect for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. Next, the Garden Room, ideal for reception drinks and canapés, is a light and contemporary building with bi-folding doors, set within pretty walled gardens with white walls, wooden floors and distinctive glass ceiling lights. Finally, in the grounds of Wasing Park, just a two-minute walk from the Castle Barn, you’ll find the picturesque parish church of St Nicolas with its 15th-century chapel and stunning stained glass windows and a white timber-clad turret housing a working iron bell.

Depending on your choice, the versatile places on offer at Wasing Park can accommodate between 30 and 140 guests. In addition to the Honeymoon Suite, there are 26 well-appointed en suite bedrooms available for your guests in The Stables. Also (subject to availability) – are two self-catering properties: The Bothy, a two-bedroom cottage in the Secret Walled Garden, and Home Farm, just a short stroll from the venue.
