Inside the hotel are three well-appointed rooms and suites to accommodate a medium-sized wedding, and with the exceptional experience of the staff, weddings at Gorse Hill are well-planned and run very smoothly.
Christine and Joe are a wonderful couple who asked me to be their wedding photographer, and I was really excited to have the opportunity to shoot at Gorse Hill for a second time.
The day started at Christine’s house, where she was made up with her bridesmaids before heading to their local church to exchange their vows at the ceremony. After confetti was thrown, we headed to Gorse Hill for the reception and evening entertainment. The guests gathered for relaxing drinks on the lawn with Champagne and canapés. After a couple of glasses of champers, I took the newlyweds around the spectacular grounds for their romantic time away from the party. I had previously worked with the couple for their engagement shoot at Lythe Hill, so they were very accustomed to the camera and looked fabulous.
Some excellent speeches followed during their wedding breakfast, and it was soon time for the party to start and for the guests to put on their dancing shoes to cut some shapes!! I had a fantastic day working with Christine and Joe, and it was a memorable wedding at the beautiful Gorse Hill. With Christine expecting a baby in the coming months, I wish them all the very best in the future!
