Hampton Court House in Surrey overlooks the beautiful Bushy Park and is a very elegant and charming setting for a wedding. This stunning Georgian mansion is set within picturesque grounds and was built in the early 18th century. I always enjoy working at this venue as each stage of the wedding day opens up new backdrops for creative compositions. If you are seeking an elegant venue that’s full of character with a relaxed atmosphere then look no further than Hampton Court House.
When Lily and James asked me to capture their special day here in May I was very pleased to return to this amazing venue. The main hall was the grand setting for their beautiful ceremony and after a moving service everyone gathered on the lawn out the front to congratulate the happy couple. Once they’d had plenty of time with their guests I took Lily and James for their couple shoot in the garden, making use of the grotto and areas around the pond for some relaxed portraits.
The conservatory and landscaped garden around the back of the building made for a lovely drinks reception whilst the regal main hall looked fantastic for the meal and speeches. To round off a wonderful day the newlyweds danced in to the early hours and everyone joined them on for a boogie! I had a great time working with Lily and James at Hampton Court House and here’s a few pictures from their wedding day…..
