Coltsford Mill offers a great balance between classic and elegance and with its modern finish, it features very large windows throughout the Watermill barn for oodles of stunning natural light. This pretty wedding venue is set within 12 acres of land and backs on to the beautiful Surrey countryside. Within the grounds are two picturesque lakes and an original mill, making for a wonderfully relaxed setting. What I love about working at this venue is that there are so many beautiful locations to utilise so I’m always excited to return.
Rebecca and her bridemaids got ready in the quaint cottage before heading down to the barn to meet Tom who waited patiently, feeling very nervous! The excited couple exchanged their vows before walking back up the aisle and out in to the glorious sunshine for a relaxed reception. It certainly was a fine day with not a cloud in the sky and this made for some beautiful photography as everyone gathered round to congratulate the happy couple.
Next I took Rebecca and Tom around the stunning grounds of Coltsford Mill for some quiet moments away from the wedding party. The wedding breakfast details in the barn looked fabulous with a rustic pink woodland theme. Lots of laughter, tears and hugs followed as the emotional roller coaster of the speeches began.
The day finished with a very load bang with lots of dancing and an epic fireworks display! It was so lovely working with Rebecca and Tom at Coltsford Mill and I was very pleased that they chose me to capture their amazing day. The newly married couple loved their wedding photos and sent me this very kind message below. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Maybank!!!
